Some say that science is the enemy of faith. Many believe that theories such as evolution and the Big Bang attempt to offer an non-biblical explanation of how the earth and the heavens came to be, and how life eventually populated the planet. .
But videos like the one above help to show us that not all science conflicts with the word of God. Some study disciplines such as archaeology actually help to validate the Holy Bible, while dismissing ideas and beliefs which conflict with the inspired Word given to us by the Lord.
The video is less than twelve minutes long, but is told in an entertaining and informative way. Watching it is time well spent…
Do we believe the bible to be true just because it says it is, (2 Timothy 3:16-17)? Or is there more to it than that…
This video explains how history proves the facts and accuracy of the original biblical manuscripts dating back centuries. It shares prophetic statements made in certain books of the bible, which man could not have known unless inspired by a Supreme Being. The facts presented here give logical reasoning to the bible as absolute truth.
It is only about ten minutes long, and is well worth watching. Take the time to investigate this information and let us build our faith by what it shows us!

Got another email from my friend Paul. He’s always “pondering” something. Here, he’s reading a book I’ve recommended several times entitled “Muscle and a Shovel” by Michael Shank. It is a great book and (he) and I highly appreciate the message it puts forth.
Let me share a part of the email with you…
“Why do you believe what you believe?
Most of us believe what we believe because someone we love believed it first. Our parents, grandparents or spouse believed it and shared it with us. Because we love them we accepted their belief system and made it a part of our own.
Our Oregon friends, Vern and Judy Miebach, gave us a book, Muscle and a Shovel by Michael Shank. Adapting a characterization that Shank uses about religious people he gives us this list:
- They are all good, sincere, moral, kind and honest people.
- They all believe that they are going to heaven.
- Few can find Biblical evidence on how to get to heaven.
- Many feel that everyone is headed to the same place and that the road you take to get there doesn’t matter.
- Most have no idea what their respective religious groups teach.
- Religious apathy prevails.
Why do you believe what you believe? Is your faith built on a firm foundation? Are you a church go-er or a Bible believing, Bible reading, Bible knowing Christian? Whose faith do you have, anyway? Do not let religious apathy prevail in your life.
There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end is the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12
