Dead…

Dried up to the bone

is he who won’t pray to Me.

There’s no nourishment.

Open your hearts, child.

Let your feelings flow to Me.

I give life and love!

Lovely poem! 😍 It reminds me of Ezekiel, chapter 37, about the dry bones. 🙂

And thanks again for using my photo. 😊 ♥

You are very kind to say that. My mother was the poet in the family. She actually sold many of them to various magazines while she was alive. She liked to write poems for children as she taught elementary school for over 30 years…

Oh, that’s really cool! 😀 So that’s where you get your talent from. 🙂 Wow, sold them to magazines? She must have been really good!
Aww, how nice! ♥ I’m sure the kids appreciated her teaching and her poems!

Oh that is very kind, Grace, but I am not sure I have any talent! But my mom sure did…Yep, she was a Master Teacher which meant that she trained other teachers. And she did love it when she sold a poem. She never got much money for them, but she just loved the feeling of sharing her poems with a number of readers…of all ages really. Yes, the kids loved her. She actually taught so long she had the kids of some of her kids in her classroom…

      You have talent! 🙂

Wow, that is awesome! 😀 It is better to give than to receive, right? 😉 Wow, that is a long time!

Yes, if your heart is gentle and sincere, you will get a greater joy from giving than from receiving. Yes, that is a long time. And she enjoyed it all. Oh sure, she had some bad days. But she loved so many more good days. She was born to be a teacher!

She was a fantastic lady in every respect. Hard to believe it has been two years ago now that she passed…her birthday was in June. Thanks for your kind words about her, Grace! 🙂

Aww, I’m sorry. It must be extra hard since her birthday is so close. ♥

Yes I still think about her often. Sometimes I’ll think about calling her, and then I realize she’s with the Lord now. Maybe she has also seen my father too, and they share whatever kind of relationship God has planned for people, (spirits), to have in heaven…
