If we love only those who do us good … what for is God going to reward us?

The truth of scripture…very good! Thank you for the number of posts you looked at. I hope you found some of it interesting and useful!
If you pay attention … we learn more by listening than by preaching, and we learn something new every day … and every new day is a gift. I did and I do!
I like the saying…”Preach a sermon everyday. If necessary, use words…”
I get the message! 😉 be the change you want to see! Be the example.
That’s the idea…
Here is my post … what I believe … please watch think then give your opinion. http://wp.me/p3w99D-GL
I realise the mistakes after having made them myself.
I do the same sometimes. However, I’m trying to think a bit differently. I’m attempting to try to see the end result of a sin I may be tempted to do before I do it. You know, the guilt and shame of having let God down. Then the temptation to commit the trespass doesn’t seem as strong, at least in some cases. Well…at least it has worked for me before.
Im not sure how that works! I know that … for example whats that sin about desire? ( not another mans wife! ) desire in general … ?
Religion puts a wedge between us people … Faith in God unites us. God is nor was nor will ever be … ! A Muslim … a Christian, a Buddhist nor non of all the other “Religions out there! He is our teacher of Love.
I agree…man has twisted the teachings of the word of God, especially since the Protestant Reformation period.
God is love. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins. It is only by faith and obedience to His gospel that we reach the grace of God for our sins…and salvation (Romans 6:3-5, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)…
There … I am 200% with you! I thank God … I am not alone in this thought. This video I love … it says it all!
Then I pray! I say the “Our Father” and within it says forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Good for you. It seems you know a bit about the scriptures. Do you attend a church, if I may ask?
Not as much as I used to! I speak to God … whenever and anywhere I need to! God is so big … he doesn’t fit in a building but ther’s plenty of space in my heart! I love God! Have you seen my post on Religion?
I am still exploring your website. I will have to look for the post. I like what you say here. He is a big God who wants to here from us at any and all times. Even when people meet together in a church building to worship Him as He deserves.
I was planning to close the blog at the end of the year! My boss also takes a look occasionally and only today … asked me not to! I was speechless! I have been posting for 3 and 1/2 years … Now I get very little feedback … its not worth my time. My family merits it more …even if its only 5 minutes and believe me a post takes at least 20 minutes.
Well I am sorry to hear about the closure of your site…but I respect your decision. May I suggest a book I think you may agree with. It is entitled “Muscle and a Shovel” by Michael Shank. Here is a link to find out more about it…
You are welcome, thanks for the conversation!
Anytime! Thank you for your time and interest! God bless and all the best wishes for Christmas!
And a Merry Christmas to you as well! May God bless you as you seek Him in spirit and truth…
