This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
Sometimes, it feels as though the dark deeds of man fill the world, and evil abounds…
And while this is true to some degree, we as Christians are people of Light, and must not be disheartened by such things.
The news is full of the dark deeds of man. Murders, rape, burglaries, hate crimes, etc. fill the headlines as they are so pervasive in our society of America and across the world!
But just as we feel we can’t hear any more of these things, someone moved by the spirit of goodness does a wonderful deed of sorts. And this lightens the burden of woe and gives hope to the ladened of heart.
The Lord has told us that we will always have distress in this world, because it is filled with those who seek after the things of the evil one. But take courage in God’s words found in (John 16:33) which tell us:
Here the Lord is speaking to His followers who were experiencing persecution because they believed in and followed Him. But the words hold true for us today, as our hearts are troubled by the horrific acts which man perpetuates upon man.
However, let us not grow weary in the work of His love! May we continue onward in showing and doing good to all people everywhere in the spirit of the light and hope which represents the Lord God Almighty.
For the Light exposes the darkness, and will overcome all evil just as the Lord has overcome evil and death by His resurrection. Again, as certain as He has risen, so it is that His Light will finally overcome the ills of this world.
And for all those who practice the dark endeavors which do harm to man, they will all be put to eternal death in the darkest places of hell fire as they deserve…so says the Lord!
But for now, as we live on this earth, we must endure the wrongful acts of mankind. But let us hold onto the hope of heaven as promised by God. And may this hope continue to inspire us to good deeds in the face of the nefarious acts of Satan and his “angels.”
My friends, as long as there is life on this planet, while we have the breath of life within us, let us work tirelessly to do good and encourage righteousness in the name of the Lord. For this is the will of Him who loves goodness; and cares enough for His own to save us by the gift of grace through His Son Jesus Christ.
Again, may we never grow tired and ineffective in the labors of His love!
